Bloomington - Samuel H. Price, 68, of Bloomington, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at his residence.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington. A committal service will follow the visitation at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Bloomington.

Sam was born on September 21, 1951 in Bardstown, Kentucky, a son to Jack and Mary (Wise) Price. He attended Normal Community High School.

Surviving are his sons, Cory Price of Oceanside, California and Kyle Price of Bloomington; granddaughter, Isabella Price of Oceanside, California; the mother of his children, Joanie Price; sisters, Shirley (Pete) Wheeler of Bloomington, Hennrietta Sykes and Mary Price both of Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother William, and sister, Elizabeth.

Sam was employed at Mechanical Devices Co. for 44 years, while he worked there the owners were like family to him. As loved working as a machinist and was like an old, hard-working machine himself. He was an avid classic car enthusiast and enjoyed working on cars. Sam was a good friend, a loving and caring father and grandfather, and known for his good sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew him, especially by his old English Bulldog, Trump.
