Also surviving are her four children, Gregory (Jill) Turgeon, of Normal, Michelle (Sam) Forzley, of Lemont, IL, Douglas (Sara) Turgeon, of Anderson, SC, and Nannette Leake, of Normal; grandchildren, Jacob, Alyson, Sarah, Nicholas, Anne, Elizabeth, Lauren, Ryan, Mary Francis, Ben, and Beasley; and great-granddaughter, Grace.

An accomplished seamstress, she designed and made clothing for family and friends. She enjoyed making a home for her family in many areas of our country, always making new friends and "blooming where she was planted." At every opportunity, Bonnie would engage family and friends in a game of cards.

With the support of her faith, family, and friends, she exhibited courage and grace as she endured a 20 year battle with cancer. The family wishes to thank the Community Cancer Center Staff, OSF Hospice Staff and Volunteers, as well as the staff of Fairview Haven, for caring for Bonnie.
