Arvid Hedlund

Bloomington - Arvid W. Hedlund, 81, of Bloomington, passed away at 2:05 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Arvid was born on March 16, 1939 in Saskatchewan, Canada, a son to Einer and Clara (Barker) Hedlund.

Surviving are his daughter, Holly Hedlund of Peoria; sister, Myrna Kulenkamp of Las Vegas, Nevada; and two nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ruth Nelson.

Arvid proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard.
