Austin MacEwan
Pekin - Austin Lee MacEwan, 19, of Pekin, passed away early afternoon on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 on the Manito blacktop.
His celebration of life will be at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington. Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the memorial home.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Austin was born on December 17, 1997 in Normal, a son to Craig G. MacEwan and Michelle R. Dillon.
Surviving are his parents, father, Craig G. (Christina) MacEwan of Pekin; mother, Michelle R. Dillon; sister, Mackenzie N. MacEwan, brother, Dillon M. MacEwan and maternal grandfather, Robert L. Dillon all of Weldon; paternal grandfather, Thomas (Jodi) MacEwan of Bloomington; paternal grandmother, Irma (Gary) Edelen of St. Louis, MO; (step paternal grandparents) Nick and Pam Isaacs of Bloomington Il.; girlfriend, Abrianna Williamson of Tremont and best friend, Corey Jackson of Oahu Hawaii and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lesa Dillon and great grandmother, Mary Short.
Austin loved being in the great outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and 4 wheel trucks. He loved music and singing his favorite songs and loved his cowboy boots.
Austin had a huge heart. He was kind, helpful, and a good friend to many. He loved his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
