Bloomington - Barbara Jane Hull, 79, of Bloomington, passed away at 4:26 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at her residence with her family at her side.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington with Pastor Brent Salm officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. prior to her service at the memorial home.

A Celebration of Life and Fellowship will follow the service at the Hungarian Club.

Private family inurnment will be at a later date in Park Hill Cemetery in Bloomington. Memorials may be made to Community Cancer Center or donor's choice.

Barbara was born on July 9, 1938 in Joliet, Illinois, a daughter to Earah and Blanche Mill Burton.

She married Charles R. "Dick" Hull on November 24, 1956 in Bloomington. He preceded her in death on December 29, 2009.

Surviving are three sons, Gary R. (Debbie) Hull of Bloomington, Douglas R. (Ginny) Hull of Normal and Roger L. (DeAnne Allison) Hull of Bloomington; four grandchildren, Alex (Jennifer) Hull, Lyndsey (Brandon Horine) Hull, Stacey Hull and Kraig (Erica Shannon) Hull; three great grandchildren, Paul Hull, Kallie Horine and Phoebe Hull; several nieces and nephews; and her dog Lily.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Fred Burton and Frank Burton; and granddaughter, Molly Hull.

Barbara was employed at State Farm Insurance for over 33 years in stat services and retired 1997. She was a member of the American Hungarian Club, College Park Christian Church and the Moose Lodge.

She greatly enjoyed camping, fishing, and going on vacation with family and friends. A favorite pastime for Barb was quilting and knitting. Barbara adored spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed having breakfast and lunch with her classmates and friends.

The family would like to express their extreme gratitude to all of her friends for their help and support through difficult times, especially Lorraine Drought.

We were very privileged to have a mom like her. She was also a mom to all the friends we drug home over the years. She was kind and loving to everyone, she will be greatly missed.
