McLean - Cheryl Ann Edwards, 60, passed away at 3:28 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at her home.

Her memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomington with Pastor Thomas Wirsing officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Luncheon to follow at Trinity Lutheran.

Interment will be at a later date at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be directed to the family. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Cheryl was born on June 3, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter to Shirley and Merle Eads. She graduated Bloomington High School in 1976. She married William Bodenbach in 1976, he preceded her in death. She married John Edwards on July 6, 2006.

Surviving is her loving husband, John Edwards of McLean; mother, Shirley Evans of Bloomington; brother, Mike Eads of Bloomington; daughter, Brandi (James) Dicken of Bloomington; two sons, Ken Bodenbach of Bloomington and Seth Yeagle of Farmer City; four beloved grandchildren, Amber and Drew Dicken, Charlesa and Kysen Yeagle; Stepdaughter Beth Edwards and her family of Lincoln; one niece Jennie Robinson and her family of Bloomington.

She was preceded in death by her father, Merle Eads; sister, Merlene Booker; and stepfather, Thomas Evans.

Cheryl proudly served in the United States Air Force. She was most recently employed in home health.

Cheryl loved spending time with her family and beloved pets. She was loved by all and lived life to the fullest.
