Bloomington - Christopher George Cunningham, 35, of Bloomington, passed away at 3:32 a.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2016 in Bloomington.
His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Bloomington with Pastor William Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the start of service at the church on Wednesday. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.
Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Bloomington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Christopher's name to Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington
to help the family cover funeral expenses.
Christopher was born on May 31, 1981 in Chicago, Illinois a son to Frazier L. Cunningham II and Elizabeth M. Thomas.
Surviving is his mother, Elizabeth Mary (Gregory) Thomas of Bloomington; father, Frazier Lee Cunningham II of Bloomington; stepfather, Joe Anthony Sykes of Chicago; siblings, Wong W. (Alethia) Jamison, Elizabeth M. Cunningham, Frazier L. (Allison) Cunningham, Joshua LK (Sarah) Sykes, James M. Jamison, Mondale (Anita) Jamison, Georgette Jenkins, Antone Jamison, Antwone Cunningham, Bryan Cunningham and Shanna Cunningham; Nieces and nephews, Cache`la Cunningham, Chasity Coleman, Amare Conner, Armoni Conner, Daniel Sykes, Davion Cunningham, Mia Thomas, Eternity Sykes, Serenity Sykes, Mercenity Sykes, Kal'El Sykes, Anastasia Cunningham, Abigail Cunningham , Alani Jamison, Sherman Brown, Tyraizia Anderson, Ja'nice Jamison, Monetta Jamison and Mondale Jamison, Jr. and a host of cousins, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Elizabeth M. Jamison; paternal grandparents, Frazier L. And Elizabeth Cunningham, Sr; uncles, Daniel Jamison and Eddie Norwood; and aunts, Daysie Jamison and Rachel Jamison; niece, Baby Rachel Jamison and cousin, Venus Thomas.
Christopher was a loving man who treated everyone like family. He was a comical man, and always knew how to keep a smile on your face. He was able to find laughter in any situation.
He enjoyed basketball, art, music, and traveling. Christopher loved and trusted in Jesus Christ and gave his life to Christ at a young age. Although he didn't have children of his own, he loved and cared for his nieces and nephews as if they were his own. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
