Cody M. Stuepfert, 27, of Bloomington, passed away at 10:14 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.
His funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June, 6, 2019 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Merna in Bloomington. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
Memorials may be directed to The Community Players Theatre in Bloomington. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.
Cody was born on April 14, 1992 in Normal, Illinois. He married Ashley Femrite on December 10, 2016 in Bloomington.
Surviving is his loving wife, Ashley Stuepfert of Bloomington; father, Timothy Stuepfert of Bloomington; mother, Beth Stuepfert of Normal; brother, Andy (Katie) Stuepfert of Normal; niece, Talia Stuepfert of Normal and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Cody grew up in Bloomington-Normal and graduated from Normal Community High School in Normal. He worked for State Farm Insurance Company in the underwriting dept.
He was involved in many plays at the Community Players Theatre in Bloomington and enjoyed his many roles and friends from theatre. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and attended many games.
Cody was loved by all who knew him and always had a big smile on his face. He loved everybody he met and gave the absolute best hugs.
