Connie Walls

Normal - Connie M. Walls, 61, of Normal, formerly of Bloomington, passed away at 2:40 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at McLean County Nursing Home in Normal.

Her funeral service will be on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Bloomington with Pastor William L. Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Bloomington. Memorials may be made out to the family.

Connie was born December 31, 1956 in Bloomington, a daughter to Clifford and Rosemary Green Wilmoth. She married Thomas Walls on December 31, 1990 in Bloomington.

Surviving is her husband, Thomas Walls of Bloomington; sons, Muhammad Walls and Levar Walls, both of Bloomington; daughters, LaTasha (Leon) Bright of New Braunfels, TX, Michelle Walls of Bloomington, and Tiffany Walls of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; grandchildren, Amory, Kingston, Kamaya, Yashania, Dion, Leon, Nickhiyus, Zayon, Keionni, Damoni, Zamia, Tanessya, and Jesse; sisters, Opal Dipietrantonio of Bloomington, Ida Bell of Bloomington, and Betty Kirby of Colfax; brothers, Skylar Wilmoth and Owen Wilmoth both of Bloomington; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, daughter, Yashania Walls, and a brother, Leslie Wilmoth.

She enjoyed listening to music, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
