Cordi Dukes

Bloomington - Cordi Lynn Dukes, 51, of Bloomington, passed away at 7:59 p.m. on Wednesday 8, 2017 at her residence.

Her memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington with Rev. Frank L. McSwain, Sr. officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family.

Cordi was born on November 27, 1965 in Memphis, TN, a daughter to Willard and Pamela Dukes.

She is survived by her mother, Pamela Dukes, of Bloomington; her children, Pamela Jefferson and Michelle Jefferson, both of Memphis, TN, Tyrone Dukes and Christopher Dukes, both of Peoria, and Eric Winbush, of Bloomington; six grandchildren; siblings, Felicia Johnson, of Bloomington, Antonio Dukes, of New Orleans, LA, Kevin Dukes, of New York City; grandmother, Leona Williams, of Bloomington; her significant other, Amir; and a host of nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her father, Willard Dukes.

Cordi accepted Christ at an early age at AME Church in Memphis, TN. Shopping was her favorite hobby and she enjoyed fellowship with her friends and family. Cordi was always encouraging, supportive, and close with her children. Her family considered her to be strong.
