Bloomington - Da'Vid Parks, 22, of Bloomington, passed away at 2:19 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.

His funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Bloomington with Rev. Frank L. McSwain, Sr. officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00-12:00 prior to the service at the church. Cremation rites will be accorded. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Da'Vid Satrial Lazar Parks was the third child born to Zendra Rials-Parks on April 2, 1995. He attended Mt. Pisgah Church at a young age where he was Baptized.

Da'Vid attended elementary school in Bloomington and then later moved to Champaign, where he attended middle school. Da'Vid loved his sports, he played football in Bloomington-Normal and Champaign.

God blessed us to have 22 wonderful years with Da'Vid. He was a very outgoing, loving person. His self-confidence was a trait that he displayed daily. He brought smiles and laughter into so many lives.

Da'Vid is survived by one daughter, Jae'Da Parks of Bloomington; three sons, Da'Vid Satrial Lazar Parks Jr., Dinero Jay Parks, and a bundle of joy on the way; one step-son, Khalil Hubbard of Carbondale; his loving mother, Zendra Rials-Parks of Bloomington; one brother, Will Rials of Bloomington; two sisters, Shalonda Young of Bloomington, Shalondra Parks of Iowa; his grandparents, Sharon and Stuart Brown of Normal; his great-grandma Evangelist LeLa Mae Parks of Pacomia, CA; his god parents, Antonio and Valeria Goldman of Normal. He also leaves behind a special friend Chasity Hubbard of Carbondale; his main boys, Deuce and Don; his childhood friends, Black, Buck, Illy, Vedo, Meechie; his best friend, Moe; and a host of aunties, great-aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Will Parks, his sister, Keisha Bess, an uncle, Milagro Rials, and his cousin, Amari Catchings.
