Normal - Debra ‘Deb' Lynn Belcher, 63 of Normal, entered heavenly gates of heaven at 10:28 a.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017 surrounded by her family at her home.
Her funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Victory Christian Center in Bloomington with nephew, Andrew Held and brother in law, Jeff Bair officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Cremation rites will be accorded after services. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Deb's name to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. The family encourages those attending the services for Deb to dress casual.
Deb was born on October 20. 1953 in Bloomington, a daughter of Lyle and Lois A. Lishka Combs.
She married William ‘Billy' K. Belcher on June 9, 1973 in Bloomington.
Surviving are her two loving daughters, Dusty J. (Larry) Miller of Normal and Wendy K. (Steve II) West of Bloomington; grandchildren, Dustin, Anthony, Olivia and Jesse Miller of Normal and Ian West of Bloomington; mother in law, Luella Belcher of Bloomington and several in laws and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William ‘Billy' K. Belcher; her parents; two sisters, Carolyn Busick and Marilyn Combs; brother, Lyle Combs, Jr.; father in law, William Belcher; brother in law, Noah Belcher and sister in law, Melissa Belcher.
Deb was born and raised in Bloomington and graduated from Bloomington High School. She raised her family and worked for State Farm Insurance in the finance department retiring in 2011.
She loved fishing, camping and playing the slots on the boats.
Deb enjoyed and loved her family and will be deeply missed by all her knew her.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Paul Pedersen, Dr. Patrick Murphy and Compassus Hospice for all of their care and support during Deb's illness.
