Deloris Brunson

Le Roy - Deloris Ann Brunson, 82 of Le Roy, passed away at 7:50 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Sugar Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center in Normal.

A private family graveside service will be held in Park Hill Cemetery in Bloomington. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Deloris was born on July 8, 1934 in Heyworth, Illinois, a daughter to Virgil Dewey and Gladys Deerwester Mears.

Surviving are her children, Marlisa (Steve) Dietsch of Heyworth, Randy Brunson of Le Roy and Tammy (Gary) Tipsord of Le Roy; six grandchildren, Sean, Ryan (Kari), Haley (Kyle), Rachael, Shelby and Haley; three great grandchildren; Tristan, Ashton and Kellan; and two sisters, Marilyn Hardesty of Le Roy and Billie Rose Walden of Bloomington.

She was preceded in death by her companion of 32 years, Wayne Hardesty; one niece, Linda Staples; two sisters and four brothers.

Deloris was employed at Beer Nuts in Bloomington for over 30 years.

She enjoyed working in her yard. Deloris loved her grand kids and took great pride in bragging about them.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for all of the caregivers and a special thank you to their angel, Dixie Wardrip.

Deloris was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed.
