Diana Phillips

Bloomington - Diana Joy Phillips, 72, of Bloomington, passed away at 4:50 a.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Aperion Care in Bloomington.

Her funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at First Church of the Nazarene in Bloomington with Pastor Bob Hasselbring officiating. Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bloomington. Memorials may be made to First Church of the Nazarene in Bloomington or Transitions Hospice.

Joy was born October 19, 1946, in Chenoa, a daughter to Omer and Esther Sketo Coomes. She married John Phillips on June 27, 1965 in Chenoa. He survives.

Surviving is her husband, John Phillips of Bloomington; her daughter, Lynn Phillips of Springfield; two sisters, Linda (Francis) Kasuske of Dana and Karen Masso of Champaign; brother, Kevin (Patty) Coomes of Minnesota; sister-in-law, Jo Phillips of Bloomington; and several nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, sister, Janet Gaddis, and brother, Gary Coomes
