We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home
Unto this earth was born a son, Donald Perry Walker, Jr. “Perry” to parents, the late Donald Perry Walker, Sr. and Rosie M. Giles-Walker.
Although born in Chicago, Perry spent his adult life in Bloomington/Normal, IL where he met many cherished friends, performed volunteer services helping seniors, cleaning up around churches, and helping others through addiction recovery.
Perry was the person to always keep everyone smiling and laughing. He was a strong communicator with an even stronger love for his family and friends. Everyone who knew him loved him. He was not ashamed of telling everyone he encountered that his mom is his best friend and strongest supporter.
Perry was preceded in death by his father, Donald Perry Walker, Sr.; grandparents, Rosie and Ben Farris, Mable and Jimmy Walker; brother, Eric Farris; four uncles and four aunts. He leaves to mourn his passing, his mother, Rosie M. Giles-Walker; two sisters, Paula Walker-Smith and LaWanda (Bobby) Benson; two brothers, Keith (Stephanie) Walker and Tommie Lee Giles; four children, Nathan Henderson, Ashonte Cannon, Naomi Walker-Wilson, and Donald Perry Walker III; two grandchildren; four aunts, Dorothy, Ouida, Cindy, and Pam; two uncles, Jimmy and Elbert, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
