Doris Carol Hale, 70, of Bloomington, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.
Contributions in memory of Doris may be made to the President's Fund for Special Needs at the Advocate Charitable Foundation.
Doris was born in Harden County, Kentucky to Emmert and Dorothy Dennis on December 2, 1949. She was a graduate of Normal Community High School. She retired from her position as an Office Associate at the Public Works Department for the Town of Normal in 2012.
She cherished every moment with her granddaughter, loved spending time with her son, and spoiling her dogs. Doris also loved traveling with her husband and attending Community Players shows with her family and friends.
She leaves her husband of 50 years, Ralph "Dan" Hale, son, Nathan Hale, granddaughter, Addyson Hale, all of Bloomington; two brothers, Darrell Dennis of Bloomington and Darwin Dennis of Holder; and two sisters Patricia Brining of Ellenton, Florida and Darlene Brooks of Bloomington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Dana and Douglas Dennis.
