Heyworth - Elaine E. Karch, 76, of Heyworth, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at her residence.

Her Celebration of Life will be at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington with Jana Schopp officiating. Visitation will be from 3-5:00 p.m. prior to services at the memorial home.

Memorials may be directed to the Elaine Erickson Karch Memorial Fund, for an educational fund for her grandchildren.

She was born on August 5, 1941 in Galesburg, Illinois, a daughter to Frederick and Margaret Spangler Erickson. She married Larry J. Karch on July 10, 1993 in Galesburg.

Surviving is her husband, Larry of Heyworth; children, Marcy (Lonne) Kaufman of Normal, Mark (Susan) Godsil of Dixon, Toby (Debra) Broadfield of Normal; stepsons, Jim (Jill) Karch, Nicholas (Michelle) Karch both of Bloomington; grandchildren, Wesley and Perry Kaufman, Shelby and Savannah Karch, Emily and Katelyn Broadfield and Isla Karch; brother, Lee Erickson; sisters, Susan Richardson and Carol Romine Erickson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Collette Godsil.

Elaine worked at State Farm Insurance for many years, retiring in 2004.
She enjoyed gardening, working in the yard and with her house plants. She was a talented seamstress, loved playing cards/games with her family and was an avid Illini basketball fan.
