Everett Bugge

March 25, 1924 — April 25, 2017

Normal - Everett Arthur Bugge, 93, of Normal passed away at 10:01 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at McLean County Nursing Home in Normal.

His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Christ Lutheran Church in Normal with Rev. Jonathan Huehn officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Interment will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington. Military Rites will be accorded by the Bloomington-Normal American Legion Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church.

Everett was born on March 25, 1924 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin a son to Earl Andreas and Elva Christine Husone Bugge. He married Pearl Behling on May 1, 1945 in Concord, California.

Surviving is his wife, Pearl Bugge of Normal; sons, Glen (Mary Ann) Bugge of Edgewood, NM and Richard (Linda) Bugge of Tijeras, NM; daughters, Billie Jean (Richard) Follmer of Hudson and Barbara (Aaron) Lange of Jackson, MO; sister, Betty Comins of South Beloit, WI; two grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.

Everett graduated from the University of Florida, he and his wife later moved to Bloomington after his service in the United States Navy during World War II.

He was a long time member of Christ Lutheran Church since 1950. He served the church in a variety of ways, including boards and as a church elder.

Everett accomplished much in life, he loved woodworking, but nothing was more important to him than his family.
