Everett was born on December 21, 1944 in Normal, a son to Otto H. and Mabel L. (Sieg) Laesch.

Surviving are his children, Cory J. (Tiffany) Laesch of Indianapolis, Indiana, Jay C. (Jenifer) Laesch of Heyworth, and Kristin M. (Ryan) Kendrick of Bloomington; grandchildren, Braydon Laesch and Quinn Laesch, both of Heyworth, and Caden Kendrick and Avery Kendrick, both of Bloomington; brother, Marvin (Dorothy) Laesch of Heyworth; and special friend, Bev Miller of Danvers.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

Everett grew up in Normal where he and his family were grain and dairy farmers. No matter how busy he was with the cows, he always found time to enjoy his daily coffee breaks at Yuton Elevator, where he visited with friends and fellow farmers. As a lifelong dairy farmer, he enjoyed showing dairy cattle with his children at the McLean County and Illinois State Fairs. Recently, he enjoyed the company of Bev and his close friends and their various social events.

He was an avid sports fan and loved to cheer on the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Bears, and Fighting Illini. Everett was a devout Christian and member of Christ Lutheran Church, serving in a variety of positions of service, following in the footsteps of his parents who were charter members. In his retirement, he was able to start his favorite job of Grandpa and spent his time at his grandchildrens' ballgames and dance recitals.

He was a beloved family man and will be missed by many.
