Bloomington-Frank Quinn, 72, of Bloomington passed away at 3:17 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2017 at his home.
A committal service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Park Hill Cemetery Mausoleum in Bloomington with Pastor Keith Ferguson officiating. Military Rites will be accorded by the Bloomington-Normal American Legion Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 4:00 -6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Frank was born on December 24, 1944 in Bloomington, a son to Henry and Nettie Harris Quinn.
Surviving are his siblings, Mary Clark of Wichita, KS, Mike (Arlene) Quinn of Leroy, Sue Hays, and Linda (Fred) Thomas both of Bloomington. Frank is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Don (Judy) Quinn, Sr. and Jane Horstmann; brother in law, Bill Hays, Sr.; nephew Bill Hays, and a great nephew, A.J. Hays.
Frank was employed as a delivery truck driver for Pepsi-Cola, then a Teamster for Rowe Construction for 30 years, retiring in 1999. He proudly served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War.
Frank was a member of the VFW and American Legion Louis E Davis Post 56. He enjoyed antique cars, golf and playing pool.
