Chicago - Herbert "Mic Scott" Scarpelli, 71, of Chicago, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Alden Nursing Home in Chicago.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial visitation will be held from 10 a.m to Noon with a time of sharing to begin at Noon on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington.
Memorials may be made to his family.
Mic Scott was born on August 19, 1945 in Chicago, a son to Anthony and Leanora Sutton Scarpelli.
Surviving are his son, Ethan Juarez, of Converse, TX; his sister, Theresa Nichols, of Normal; and several nieces and nephews, great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews.
Mic Scott was a well-known musician in the Chicago area for several years, known for playing his guitar. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, a HAM radio operator, collected stamps, and enjoyed history. He also loved his cats, F, Riley, and Muriel, as well as just about any other cat that would cross his path.
Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with local arrangements.
