Jason Bryan Singley, 43, of Bloomington, formerly of Lexington, passed away at 11:13 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at his residence.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home. Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society of Central Illinois or a charity of the donor's choice.
Jason was born on January 24, 1976 in Bloomington a son to Bryan Singley and Charla Curtis.
Surviving is his father, Bryan Singley of Bloomington; mother, Charla Curtis of Lexington; sister, Bree Singley of Bloomington; niece and nephew, Kyaja and Kamron Singley; special aunt, Pinky Edwards of Bloomington; aunts, Lesley (Ronald) Richmond of Bloomington, Carmon (Jeff) Slagel of Bloomington, and Connie Robinette of MO. Jason is also survived by his maternal grandfather, William Curtis and his dog, Buck.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandmother.
Jason was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and canoeing. He especially enjoyed Colorado and the annual elk hunting trips he and his friends took there. Jason was an outgoing person with a contagious sense of humor and he will be greatly missed.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to Jason's amazing group of friends. Your loyalty, generosity, and help meant so much to Jason and all of his family during these past challenging years. Bless you.
