Jeannine O. McNemee, 84, of Bloomington passed away at 1:28 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Martin Health Center in Bloomington.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Morningstar United Methodist Church in Normal with Pastor Tiffany Black officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday and one hour prior to services on Monday, both at the church.

Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Bloomington.

Memorial may be directed to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jeannine was born on July 20, 1934 in Kankakee. She married David J. Dominic in 1956. They separated in 1975. She then married Jerry McNemee in 1990. He preceded her in death on November 2, 2004.

Surviving are her children, Steven (Kim) Dominic of Kansas City, KS, Daniel (Becky) Dominic of Peoria, Timothy Dominic of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Eileen, Aaron, and Lesley; sisters, Winona Hootstraat of Clifton, Nola (Jerry) Hewus of Des Moines, Iowa, and Eileen (Dirk) Raugles of Elmhurst and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Quentin Hertz and Dallas Hertz and a sister, Anitra Spangler.

Jeannine was employed as a receptionist for many years at Champion Federal Bank in Bloomington, retiring in 1999. She was a long time member of Morningstar United Methodist Church in Normal. She enjoyed singing in the church choir. She was also in the Bloomington Passion Play Choir for many years. Jeannine was active with Parents Without Partners as head of the newcomers outreach.

Jeannine was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
