Juanita Nesby, 55, of Bloomington, passed away at 10:40 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2020 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.
A celebration of life will be held from 12:00-5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2020 at the Eagles Club in Bloomington.
Juanita was born on November 14, 1964, in Bloomington, a daughter to Jessie Nesby and Evelyn Howard, they survive.
She is also survived by her special friend, Carl Cannon; children, James, Anthony, Daneshia, and Ryesha; siblings, Charles, Jessie, Jr., Carolyn, Betty Ann, Gloria, Randy, and Tony; as well as a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, John.
Juanita was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomington and was a part of the Labyrinth Outreach Services at the YWCA. She was a member of narcotics anonymous which lead her to become an inspirational speaker. Juanita enjoyed spending her time in Miller Park in Bloomington where she fished. Her sense of humor and great smile will be missed by all those who knew her.
