Bloomington - Karl L. Flinspach, 71, of El Paso, formerly of Bloomington, passed away at4:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at El Paso Health Care Center in El Paso.
His graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington with Pastor Jonathan Huehn officiating. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to Christ Lutheran Church.
Karl was born on January 4, 1947 in Bloomington, a son of Louis D. and Elfriede Ulrich Flinspach.
Surviving is his cousin, Christine M. (John) Kibler of Bloomington.
He was preceded in death by his parents and cousin, V. Warren Kurth.
Karl worked in the dietary department in Brokaw Hospital for 21 years and later at the Occupational Development Center. He was a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church in Normal.
He formerly lived in the Irvine Apartments for over 20 years and spent many hours walking in Miller Park.
