Kudeidrea Lorraine Stewart, affectionately know as DeDe, was born on Friday, February 24, 1984 to her parents Patricia Stewart and Cornelius Ladd, in Chicago, IL. After a tragic accident, she was called home to be with the lord on Sunday, April 2, 2023.
DeDe accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at Rising Sun Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, IL where she served as a member of the choir and a member of the junior usherboard. She rededicated her life to Christ and was baptized a second time at Christ Temple Pentecostal Church in Bloomington, IL.
Her pride and joy has always been her four children, Amiya, Larry, Lamarion, and Avion, and her grandbaby My’Layah. Every decision she made was for them. She loved them dearly and has always wanted the best for each of them.
DeDe loved helping others and earning money to take of her of children and grandbaby. After earning her high school diploma, she held several positions in different industries. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant, Qualified Medication Aide and Professional Nurse Advocate serving many families in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Bloomington, IL and Normal, Illinois. Most recently, she was employed at Rivian in the painting unit.
DeDe was the life of every party. Bringing joy, laughter, big smiles, high energy, fast-talking and her lyrical rap genius to every scene. She gave so much love and was loved and respected by everyone. She always gave the best hugs and kissing everyone on their cheeks.
Cherishing her memory are her four children, Amiya Robinson, Larry Murphy, Lamarion Murphy and Avion Murphy; her grandbaby My’Layah Bumper; her mother, Patricia Stewart; her siblings, Quanisha Kumi-Darfour (Julius), Erika Connor (Tony), Brianna Bibbs (Lafayette), Bianka Connor, Fabyan Holmes, Jaleel Holmes, Kalyca Swinford, Yuri Swinford, Cornelius Jackson, Carnell Jackson, Sandra Jackson, Anthony Jackson, Betty Ladd and Kevin Ladd. Also cherishing her memory are her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Cornelius Ladd, a special aunt Faye Raye, a special uncle Earnest Ray, grandmother Vera Stewart, grandfather James Stewart, aunt Brenda Stewart and a brother Cortex Ladd.
