Larry Troman

Normal - Larry T. Troman, 75, of Normal passed away at 11:05 a.m. on Saturday (May 28, 2016) at Heritage Health, Normal.
Larry was born Aug. 9, 1940, in Bloomington, a son of Thomas and Margaret Lovens Troman. He married Linda Gruber and later married Brenda Fenwick.
Survivors include his daughters, Lori (Steve Dubosh Jr.) Troman, Bloomington, and Kimberly Sigler, Normal; grandchildren, Michael (Sarah) Troman, Fowler, Ind., Lindsey (Travis) Carrier, Bloomington; and Jessica Sigler and Morgan Sigler, both of Normal; sister, Patty (Terry Clampitt) Mitchell, East Peoria; former mother-in-law, Phyllis Gruber, Normal; former brother-in-law, Ron (Cheryl) Gruber, Normal; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved beagle, Lilly.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Kibler Brady Ruestman Memorial Home, Bloomington. Brian Wrage will officiate. Entombment will be in Park Hill Mausoleum. Visitation will be for one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the memorial home.
Larry was employed at Felmley Dickerson Construction for many years. He was a member of Laborers Local 362 and the Teamsters Union.
Larry's family was the greatest love of his life. He loved spending time with each of his daughters and their families. Collecting Indian artifacts was the other love of his life. He enjoyed hunting for them, collecting them and studying them to learn how and when they were made. He was considered by many to be an expert in this field.
Larry loved all things outdoors: hunting, fishing and canoeing. He also could make a canoe, a hobby which he mastered in Quebec, Canada.
