Linda Carver

On Wednesday, July 7, 2021, Linda F. Carver (Tudor, Wright, Carter) 80, peacefully passed away at Heritage Health in Normal, IL.

Linda was born December 3, 1940 in Bloomington, IL to John and Edna (Gesell) Tudor. She was the most amazing and loving wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.

She was married to Joe Wright and had four children (Joe, Greg, Diane, and Lesa). She was married to Elmer L Carter until his death in 1988. They had two children (John and Steve). She was also stepmother to Elmer’s children (Ron, Randy Paul, Kathy, Kay, Jess/David, Mike, Kelly, Carol Diane Carter, Laura Carter, and Sheila Carter. After the passing of Elmer, she was married to Jerry Carver until his passing in 2015.

Linda loved her family; they always brought a smile to her face and warmed her heart. She loved to play bingo, and the lotto by buying her numbers and scratch-offs at the local gas station. She loved to laugh and tell stories of the old days. She enjoyed listening to country music, Elvis Presley, and WJBC. She was an avid Nascar fan, loved watching The Voice, The Golden Girls, and Hallmark movies.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother and father, John and Edna Tudor, her husbands, Joe Wright, Elmer Carter, and Jerry Carver, and her children Joseph Wright, Greg Wright, and Diane Wright, all of Bloomington, IL. She is survived by her brother Donald (Judy) Tudor (Bloomington, IL), her children, John (Karri) Carter (Chandler, Oklahoma), Steven (Jennifer) Carter (Normal, IL), Lesa Wright (Bloomington, IL), Sheila Carter (Vista, CA), Carol Diane Carter (Bloomington, IL), Laura Carter (Bloomington, IL), 13 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life in her honor at The Moose Lodge in Bloomington, IL, Saturday July 31 from 12:00pm-2:00pm. A meal will be provided.

The family will have a cremation burial Monday August 2, 9:00am at Park Hill Cemetery in Bloomington, IL.
