Lona Corley

Normal - Lona Mae Corley, 73, of Normal passed away at 2:34 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Her funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington with Pastor Roger Holmes officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the memorial home.

Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Bloomington. Memorials may be made to Marcfirst in Normal.

Lona was born on March 12, 1944 in Bloomington, a daughter to Vernon A. and Jessie Mae Conder Ball Corley.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; friends and staff at Marcfirst; and a sister-in-law, Betty Corley of St. Louis, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Vernon E. Corley; and sister, Margie Irene Ball Smock Swearingen.

Lona loved to watch crime shows, especially Cops. She loved lunch dates and Steak ‘N' Shake outings.
