Lucas N. Gharrett

Lucas Noel Gharrett, 34, passed away at his home in Bloomington, IL on Friday, July 22, 2022.

Lucas was born on October 4, 1987 in Decatur to Ricky Gharrett, Sr. and Cindy Thrasher.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Gharrett; daughter, Nicole; five brothers, Mike Thrasher, Doug Thrasher, Richie Gharrett, Ricky Gharrett, and David Gharrett; his father, Ricky Gharrett, Sr., and 11 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cindy Thrasher and an unborn child.

Lucas was nicknamed a “teddy bear” for his huge and loving heart, and his famous bear hugs he always greeted and left his loved ones with. Besides making his family smile, he also enjoyed making bets on sporting events, which ended with him at McDonalds in a dress… more than once.

He was a kind soul that many people loved and will miss dearly.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Kibler Brady Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington. Memorial Contributions may be directed to his family.
