Lynette was born on January 3, 1950 in Norwalk, OH, the only child to Russell and Lois Fenner Liebhart. She moved to Phoenix, AZ in her 20’s and her first job was a carhop at Bob’s Big Boy in downtown Phoenix. Lyn was previously married to Malcolm Glick who she had her two sons with, Andrew and Russell. Later she attended Beauty College in Phoenix and became a cosmetologist while her mom and Dad helped Lyn raise her two sons. She married Gerald “Jerry” P. Hodgkinson, a former Specialist of the United States Army on January 1, 1997. He preceded her in death on August 14, 2018.

Lyn and Jerry were known for running the Park N Swap on Cave Creek Rd and Union Hills behind the Candy Store. They had a pet monkey that everyone loved, named Elvira who was like a daughter to them. Lyn had a heart of gold, she was kind, willing to help others, she would open her home to you and be family to all who knew her. Lyn loved her family and enjoyed her days spending time with them. She enjoyed dancing, and listening to music. Her favorite song was “Heart of Gold” by Neil Young which Jerry dedicated to Lyn. She also enjoyed jewelry making, all the dogs that were a part of their lives through the years, cooking and baking with the family whenever she could. Lynette was also employed as the head custodian at Paradise Valley Unified School District in Phoenix, AZ., until her retirement in 2012 after 10 years of employment. After she retired, she lived life with Gerald and her family. Lyn was recently a member at Dream City Church in Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ.

She is survived by her two sons, Russell Glick (Wife Kathleen) of Show Low, AZ and Andrew Glick (Wife Meredith Frink) of Heyworth, IL, who both retired as a SSG from the United States Army, something that Lynette was extremely proud of. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren. Heather, Shawn, Kerri, Bradley, and Rebekka Glick and Christopher, Tanya, James, and Virginia Griffin. 8 great-grandchildren, Autumn, Hazel, Taylor, Melanie, Izzy, Stephanie, Brody, and Olivia. She also adored her dogs, Ranger, Bindy, and Gracie.
