Danville - Marc W. Jordan, 66, of Danville, IL passed away at 9:20 a.m. on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville.
He was born on March 9, 1954 in Danville, IL to Clair Melvin "Salty" and Betty Ruth Murray Jordan. They preceded him in death along with his Aunt Dee (Delores Holtz) one sister, Margo Jordan Carr, and one brother, Murray C. Jordan.
Marc is survived by his brother-in-law Dean Carr of Bloomington and his niece Mackenzie Steinbrueck and nephews Christopher Mikael Jordan, Matthew Jordan and Jordan Dean "JD" Carr.
He graduated from Illinois State University and after graduation worked with the family business, Jordan Electric. Marc later moved to Bradenton, Florida and taught CAD programming to High School students before relocating back to Danville to be closer to family.
Marc was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Danville and was a supporter of Bethany Comfort Dog Ministry. Bethany brought him great comfort pre-covid. He was a technology teacher and enjoyed working on computers, building computers and making DVD's for family members from old VHS tapes.
Cremation rites will be accorded and services will be held at a later date at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.
