Normal - Margaret Louise Rader, 93, of Normal, passed away at 2:38 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Heritage Manor in Normal.
Her Celebration of Life service will be at 12:00 p.m. noon on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at East White Oak Bible Church in Carlock with an Open House immediately following at the church. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.
Interment will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington. Memorials may be made to East White Oak Bible Church.
Margaret was born on March 30, 1924 in Bloomington Illinois, a daughter to Herman and Hazel Kagel Laesch. She married Glenn A. Rader on February 11, 1945 in Bloomington. He preceded her in death on October 30, 1970.
Surviving are three sons, Lynn (Linda) Rader of Normal, Steve (Vicki) Rader of Bloomington and Stan (Sally) Rader of Carlock; three daughters, Jan (Mark) Freed of Lexington, Judy (Jeff) Fritzen of Normal and Bonnie (Brent) Hellman of Emden; 16 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and one brother, Edward Laesch of Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, parents and a daughter, Connie.
Margaret was raised in Carlock, Illinois where she graduated from high school. She worked with her husband, Glenn, on their dairy farm. She raised her 7 children and was "Nana" to her family and friends.
She worked over the years for Unit 5 Schools, Illinois State University and the McLean County Jail in food service. She was a 73 year member of East White Oak Bible Church in Carlock.
Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she will be greatly missed.
