Michael Eilers

Michael D. Eilers, 60, of Normal, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016 at his residence.

Cremation rites have been accorded by Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home and a celebration of his life, as well as his benefit will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Hickory Hill Campground in Secor, IL.

Michael was born on May 6, 1956 in Peoria, a son to Melvin and Kathryn Bean Eilers. He married Evelyn Janes on May 17, 1980 in Chillicothe.

Surviving is his wife, Evelyn Eilers of Normal; daughter, Alexandra (Tyler) Gross of Normal; granddaughter, Austyn Gross of Normal; brothers, Mark (Lisa) Eilers of Chillicothe and Marty (Patty) Eilers of Indiana and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial contributions may be made in Michael's name to Evelyn Eilers.
