Normal - Pamela D. McClure, 68, of Normal, passed away at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.
A memorial service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at St. Luke Union Church in Bloomington with Rev. Andy Gifford officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. prior to service at the church.
Memorials may be directed to Prairieland Federal Credit Union in Pamela's name or St. Luke Union Church in Bloomington. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.
Pamela was born on January 7, 1950 in Bloomington, a daughter to Robert B. and Earlene Funk Potts. She married James J. McClure on July 1, 1972 in Bloomington, he survives.
Surviving is her daughter, Abbi K. (Bryan) Prochnow and son, Travis J. McClure, both of Normal; grandchildren, Gage Noland, Zoe Noland, Dylan Webb, Zoey Edwards, Kristen Jones, Anthony Jones, Benjamin Jones and Kylie McClure; great grandchild, Mason Smith; sisters Barbara Dunn of Normal, Jan Morris of Bloomington, and Becky (Larry) Blum of Hudson; in-laws, Michelle (Royce) Cage of Kokomo, IN, Denise Erickson of Normal, Marlon (Linda) McClure of Normal, nieces Trish Keist of Bloomington and Amy (Jay) Steidinger of Fairbury; nephews, Adam (Beth Wilson) Kinzer of Normal, Andy (Wendy) Cage and Pat (Amber) Cage of Kokomo, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; parent in-laws, Glenn J. and Delores W. McClure; brother in-laws, David Erickson, Charlie Dunn and Bob Morris.
Pamela graduated from Normal Community High School in 1968. She worked in the dental industry for 43 years, most with Lowell Thompson, DDS; Gregory Randolph, DDS as a dental assistant and Kirk Noraian, DDS, MS, FACD, FICO as a periodontal surgical assistant.
Pamela was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, she will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
