Lincoln - Paula K. Jones, 52, of Lincoln, formerly of Bloomington, passed away at 12:45 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.
Her memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Normal with Pastor Jeff Henricks officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorials may be made to S.O.A.R. (Special Opportunities Available in Recreation).
Paula was born on July 15, 1964 in Bloomington, a daughter to Jimmy P. and Annie Foster Jones.
Surviving is her mother, Annie Allen and step-father, Larry Allen both of Normal; step-mother, Carol Jones of Bloomington and sister, Julie (James) Drake of Bloomington.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Jones and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
She attended MarcFirst, Illinois State University Laboratory School and Sarah Raymond Early Childhood School.
Paula was employed at MarcFirst in Normal and Tri-County Special Education Association in Lincoln. She enjoyed bowling at S.O.A.R. with her friends.
She was from a large family who all loved her dearly.
