He was an avid U of I Fighting Illini basketball fan and enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball both at home and in St. Louis with his Dad and brothers.
He and Kristie spent most of their time in their backyard, which they turned into a beautiful secret garden oasis worthy of the Garden Walk.
He loved listening to music and often went to concerts with family and friends. He loved that he raised his daughter listening to The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, and Tom Petty.
