Robert Martin

Bloomington - Robert E. "Bass" "Bates" Martin, 53, of Bloomington, passed away at 7:50 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at his residence.

His funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington with Charles E. Andrews, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the memorial home.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Robert was born on May 14, 1963 in Bloomington, Illinois, a son to William L. and Phyllis Minnie Moore Martin.

Surviving are his children, Chasity, Rashun and Tazman; sister, Joyce Kendrick of Michigan, brother, William Martin of Bloomington, Rickey (Dee) Martin of Bloomington, brother, Phillip (Tina) Martin of Blooington and sister, Etta (Ty) James of Michigan; and a host of grandchildren and a special friends, Marcus and Phil.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and his aunt, Gloria Lane.
