Robin Lynn Burns Perry, 61, of Bloomington, passed away at 11:53 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Kibler Brady Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington. A graveside service will follow the visitation at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Bloomington. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
Robin was born on September 29, 1961 in Bloomington, to Marvin “Dan” and Virginia Summers Burns. She married Andre Perry on November 8, 2013.
Surviving are her loving husband Andre Perry; sons, Jason (Jennifer Pacquette) Wherry and Adam (Emily) Wherry; step children, Andre Michael Perry, Monique Diane Perry; grandchildren, Jordan (22), Jacob (17), Mercedes (14), Caydance (12), Jaxson (10), Annakyn (8), Pacey Joy (9), Nina Jo (7), and Bexley Ellen (1); adopted grandchildren, Micah, MacKenzie, and Cassidy; her mother, Virginia Burns; and siblings, Tony Burns, Carol (Kenneth) Wilson, Laura Miller, Michael Burns, and Cheryl Christo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin “Dan” Burns and a brother, Steven Burns; adopted grandchild, Caleb, and brother-in-law, Mike Miller.
Robin was employed at Bishop’s Buffet, in Eastland Mall and then Wildwood Industries, until their closing. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed making cross stitch blankets for her grandchildren and family cookouts.
