Ronald (Ron) Jay Curry - "It is not the length of life, but the depth of life." (Ralph Waldo Emerson) On Tuesday, October 2, 2018 Ronald (Ron) Jay Curry, 48 years old, left our mortal Earth and his soul is now free.
Ron was born on February 7, 1970 in Bloomington, Illinois. He was a loving husband and father who enjoyed taking care of those around him and making others laugh. Ron is Survived by: Wife, Lara Curry, Daughters, Payton Tiann, Samara Catherine, Nia Grace, and Mikaela Rae. Mother, Joyce Ann Curry, Father, Ronald Joseph Curry (Willie Curry), Sister, Anitra R Curry.
Extended Family, Jerry and Carol Vacek, Steve Vacek (Karen), James Vacek (Joanne), Beth Williams (Mike) and Darcie Fellmeth (Kevin).
Neices and Nephews, Amonte, Dantez, Riann, La'Daneon, Steven, Zach, Nikki, Anthony, Nate, Grady, Lecie, Rome, Evie, Theo, Emma, AJ, Henry, Quinten and Ethan.
A host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends who all enjoyed Ron's laughter and company.
Ron was proceeded in death by brother, Kevin Lamont Curry, Maternal Grandparents, Thelma Brown and Fannie Mae Tucker, Paternal Grandparents, Samuel (Junior) and Agnes Miller Curry.
Services for Ron were held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3450 West Ray Road, Chandler, Arizona 85226. Interment immediately followed the mass at Valley of the Sun Cemetery.
A Memorial Service in Ron's home town of Bloomington, Illinois will be at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The family would like to thank the Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery for their help, being so accommodating, and kindness with the entire family. The family is being served locally by Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington.
Ron always had a way of making everyone he encountered laugh and feel special. We will never forget that. Ron, we love you so much and you will never know how much you are and will be truly missed.
