Ronald Stachurski

Bloomington - Ronald T. Stachurski, 71, of Bloomington, passed away at 2:19 PM on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Advocate Bromenn Medical Center in Normal.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private inurnment will take place at Goose Creek Cemetery in Deland, Illinois at a later date. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Ron was born on September 16, 1944 in South Bend, Indiana, a son to the late Thomas and Gertrude Nowakowski Stachurski. He married Mary G. Manning in Champaign in January of 1971. She preceded him in death in 2006.

Surviving are his 3 children, Shaun (Amy Perkins) Stachurski, Cullom, Thom (fiancé, Wendi Malinowski) Stachurski, Bloomington, Beth (Jesse) Carey, Cooksville; 7 grandchildren, Kevin Frank, James Taylor, Felicity Stachurski, Ethan Stachurski, Hailey Stachurski, Genevieve Carey, Eli Carey; and a brother, Albert Stachurski, Bloomington.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ralph and Danny.

Ron was a past member of the Bloomington Moose Lodge #745 in Bloomington. He enjoyed fishing and playing video games. Most of all he enjoyed the time he spent with his family and grandchildren.
