Normal- Ruby P. Dunn, 96, of Normal formerly of Shelbyville passed away at 7:20 a.m. on January 28, 2019 at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday February 2, 2019 at New Life Fellowship Church, Bloomington. Pastor James Haffener will officiate. Burial will be in Camp Butler Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation will be for one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church. Kibler Brady Ruestman Memorial Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ruby was born December 6, 1922 at Bloomington a daughter of Jesse and Mabel C. Ball Craig. She married Clement B. Dissette Sr., and later she married Everett Lesher, lastly she married Lyle E. Dunn. He survives in Shelbyville.
Other survivors include a son, Leland (Jodi) Lesher, Melbourne,FL; two daughters, Sharon Lesher-Bliss, Rio Rancho,NM and Lenora "Noni" (Rick) Bittner, Normal; a step daughter Gina (Sonny) Davis, Decatur and a step son, Ben E. (Paula) Dunn, Sand Point, Idaho; fifteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Clement "Bud" Dissette Jr., six brothers and five sisters.
Ruby was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Shelbyville and the ladies aid. She was employed by G.E. in Bloomington for many years.
Memorial contributions may be directed to New Life Fellowship Church, Bloomington.
