Ruth Tudor

Bloomington - Ruth E. Tudor, 84 of Bloomington, passed away at 7:56 a.m. on Thursday April 12, 2018 at her residence.

Her graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington. Visitation will be from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Saturday at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or Alzheimer's Association.

Ruth was born on May 9, 1933 in Pontiac, Illinois, a daughter to William and Ida Mae Campbell Partridge. She married Stephen L. Tudor on Easter Sunday, March 25, 1951, in Bloomington. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2006.

Surviving are her daughters, Ann E. Stein, Pekin, Cynthia L. (Randy) Kopp and Cheryl G. (Mike) Schultz , both of Bloomington; six grandchildren, Brian (Terri) Kopp, Becky (Kyle) Bounds, Chris (Dusty) Schultz, Amy Anderson, Richard Stein and January Burnett and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Stephen D. Tudor; and three brothers.

Ruth grew up in Pontiac, Illinois and moved to Normal where she graduated from Normal Community High School. She retired from Eureka Co. after 25 years of service.

She enjoyed boating, family gatherings, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ruth is now reunited with her husband of 55 years, Stephen L. Tudor.
