Sandra Barth

Bloomington - Sandra Kay Johnson Barth, 78, of Bloomington, passed away at 5:47 on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at her home.
Her Memorial Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bloomington with Father Jeffrey D. Stirniman officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington. Sandra donated her body for medical science research.
Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, Bloomington Normal Cursillo, or to Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Sandra was born on March 19, 1940, a daughter to George and Flo Thompson Johnson. She married Joseph W. Barth on June 14, 1969 in Bloomington. He preceded her in death on June 18, 2018.
Surviving are her children Joseph ‘Jay' (Tara) Barth of Bloomington, Jeff Barth of Bloomington, and Judy (Mike) Riggs of Le Roy; grandchildren, Emma Barth, Jill Barth, Krista Barth, Alex Barth, and Jackson Riggs; her sister and best friend, Kathy Kiley of Bloomington; and many nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother-in-law, Bob Kiley.
Sandra was an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where she volunteered for many years as a scheduler for extraordinary ministry. She also was a member of the Bloomington Normal Cursillo and was active in prison ministry.
