Normal - Sheila M. Carroll, 38, of Normal, passed away at 1:08 p.m. on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at her residence.
Her Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. prior to her service on Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery in Downs, Illinois next to her maternal grandparents.. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Lakes Fellowship, Chestnut Health Systems or Vale Church.
Sheila was born on April 24, 1980 in Bloomington, Illinois, a daughter of Daniel J. Carroll, Sr. and Paula M. Flurer.
Surviving are her parents, Daniel J. Carroll, Sr. Of Bloomington and Paula M. Flurer of Normal and a special stepfather, Chuck Flurer of Downs; three wonderful sons who she dearly loved, Jaxin Flurer, Jonathan Flurer both of Downs and Jaysen Lockhart of Lincoln; brother, Daniel J. Carroll, Jr. of Bloomington, paternal grandfather, Edward J. Carroll of Bloomington; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Louise M. Carroll, maternal grandparents, Charles, Sr. and Pauline Turner and paternal step grandparents, Gary and Patti Flurer.
Sheila was in Junior Reserves Officers' Training at the ages of 14 and 15 years old in Idar Oberstein, Germany where her stepfather was stationed. She later graduated from Tri-Valley High School in 1998.
She was employed at Comprehensive Health Services in Bloomington and attended Heartland Community College. Sheila was a member of Vale Church in Bloomington.

If you met Sheila, you were a friend. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. Sheila will be greatly missed on earth but we know you are one of God's Angels now.
