Shirley Williams

Bloomington - Shirley Hursey Williams, 84, of Bloomington, passed away at 11:05 a.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

Per Shirley's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no public service or visitation. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be made to donor's choice in honor of Shirley.

Shirley was born on April 9, 1935 in Carlyle, a daughter to Aubrey and Almeta Jackson Hursey, Sr.

Surviving is her son, Earl (Lori) Doage; daughters, Vicki Williams and Lawana Williams; grandchildren, Latoya Doage, Nicholas (Misty) Doage, Megan (Anwar) Doage-Gaston, Josh (Christa) Williams, and Larry Williams; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert (Mary) Hursey, Sr., Phyllis Thomas, Sandra Herman, and Deborah Hursey; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Gary Hendricks and Paul Schulz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Lawrence "Sport" Williams, and brother, Aubrey Hursey, Sr.
