Shurley Rusk, Jr.

Bloomington - Shurley ‘Junior' Rusk, Jr., 87, passed away at 10:25 a.m. on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at Aperion Care in Bloomington.
His funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m on Saturday, April 21 2018 at Union Missionary Baptist Church in Bloomington. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00, prior to his service at the church.
A private family interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Union Missionary Baptist Church in Bloomington. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.
Junior was born on June 22, 1930, in Evadale, Arkansas, a son to Emma M. Gaiter and Shurley Rusk, Sr. He worked for General Electric for many years until he retired.
Surviving is his son, Michael Rusk of CA; daughter, Nancy Winfrey of FL; two grandchildren; and his siblings, Gene Rusk, Anthony Rusk, and Dorothy Miller, all of Bloomington and Eliza (Reginald) Taylor of NC.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and four brothers.
