Terry Cox

Bloomington - Terry Gene Cox, 63 of Bloomington, passed away at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.

His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington with Rev. Mark Peters officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the memorial home.

Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington. Memorials may be made to the family to a scholarship fund for his son, Alexander.

Terry was born on January 15, 1953 in Clinton, Iowa. He married Linda Alwes on October 12, 2002in Bloomington.

Surviving is his wife, Linda Cox and a son, Alexander Cox, both of Bloomington.

Terry was a volunteer at Bent Elementary School in Bloomington where he loved working with the children and encouraging them to read. He loved nature and spending time outdoors.

His biggest love was his family. Terry took great joy in taking care of and spending time with his family. He spent most of his time doing things for others and had a very loving and caring heart.
He chose to donate life to others through Gift of Hope as one last act of service.
