Thomas Martin

Thomas "Moonie" Anthony Martin, 48, of Bloomington, passed away at 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at his residence.

His funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at City of Refuge Church in Bloomington with Pastor Tim Allison and Pastor William Bennett officiating. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Moonie was born on July 5, 1971 in Harvey. A son to Donald Boykin and Paulette Martin.

He is survived by the love of his life of 20 years, Sarah Marie Clark; his father, Donald Boykin; children, Brooklyn Maleah Star Martin, Brennen Malik James Martin, Darieon M. (Jasmine) Martin, Deonte M. (Arrionna Jenkins) Scales, Seyveon M. (Corynne Jasso) Martin, and Ashley Digginz; grandchildren, Elijah Thomas Martin, Audrinna Marie Daniel Martin, Amyiah Digginz, Aiden Digginz, and Myliah Digginz; siblings, Delarn Mack, Derrick Martin, Daren Martin, and Eric Martin. He is also survived by a host of other relative and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Paulette Martin, and his grandparents, Willie and Slonia Martin.

Moonie was an incredible chef. He was a loving father and "Uncle Moonie" to many. He will be greatly missed.
