Bloomington - Thomas M. Walls, 77, of Bloomington passed away at 8:42 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2020 at his residence.
His funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Bloomington with Pastor William L. Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements.
Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Bloomington. Memorials may be directed to the family.
Thomas was born on August 20, 1942 in Brookhaven, Mississippi, a son to Lucille Ford and Willie Walls. He married Connie Wilmoth on December 31, 1990, in Bloomington. She preceded him in death on November 7, 2018.
Surviving are his children, Jimmy Collins and James Walls both of Bloomington, Tommy Walls of Indiana, Troy Walls of Normal, Sharon Walls, Robert Walls, Muhammad Walls, and Levar Walls all of Bloomington, LaTasha Bright of San Antonio, Texas, Michelle McColm, Tiffany Walls, and Michael Howard all of Bloomington, Damond Safford of Oakland, California, and Dewayne Howard of Kansas City, Kansas; brothers, TJ Walls, Billie Joe Walls, and Eddie Walls all of Bloomington, and Edwards Walls of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four children, David Walls, Calvin Walls, Yashania Walls, and Larry Walls; four brothers, Charlie Cameron, Albert Walls, Walter Walls, and Willie Walls; and two sisters Geneva Walls and Dorothy Mayfield.
